Adam's South Front (based on the Arch of Constantine in Rome) and his naturalistic landscaping of the gardens.
The vestibulum, or saloon, dramatically rises the full height of the building behind the South Front
and is covered by a dome.

A similar dome is also a feature of Raj Bhavan in Kolkata but the two wings at the front are repeated at the rear
giving a more unified feeling to the design.
