A night time wedding,
Seville
Cathedral, Spain.
I was spending Christmas
in Seville and was walking near the Cathedral one night when I
was aware of
groups of women in traditional flamenco dress near the entrance.
To my surprise a horse drawn carriage pulled up
with what I took to be a wedding party.
I had a professional
flash gun which I hardly used, set it to telephoto, and took one
shot.
Because it was pitch black I was unaware of anyone in the carriage.
When I got the image back from the processors I was staggered
to see a perfect image of a happy bride.
The wedding took place
in a side chapel of the Cathedral. Presumably it was timed to
avoid tourists.
About 1993.
